Safe House

So, you may be looking for that action packed, keep you on the edge of your seat movie?  Well, this action movie staring Ryan Reynolds and Denzel Washington is a great watch.  A young CIA operative, Matt Weston (Ryan Reynolds) is in charge of a safe house that now is home to one of the CIA's most wanted, Tobin Frost (Denzel Washington).  Once the safe house is compromised and every operative except Weston is killed, it is up to him to find out how the safe house was breached while keeping Frost in his possession and alive.
This movie started off with my attention and ended with me still glued to the screen.  From the get-go you knew this movie had potential and it did not disappoint.  Denzel Washington showed off why he is still one of the best in the business with his acting skills and Ryan Reynolds held his own by incorporating both his comedic and action backgrounds.  There were times where I went "are you serious?" because the storyline seemed to skip from one direction to another, but it was made up for by keeping us guessing on who the rogue agent is.  Overall this movie is a must see if you are into crime action movies.
Onto that ever important parental guidance.  There was no full nudity, the cursing was kept to a minimum and the blood and gore level is low for an action movie rate R.  There are obviously fight scenes and shoot outs, as well as a few instances of alcoholic beverages being consumed but overall, a very 'clean' R rated movie.  My rating is an 8.5 out of 10.  Loosing a few points for the "how is that even possible" factor that takes place a few times!  Overall: I recommend this movie!
